A Day of Love and Adventure: Ivy and Dylan's Elopement in Tofino

Tofino, a hidden gem on the west coast of Vancouver Island, captures hearts with its breathtaking landscapes, rugged coastlines, and serene beaches. Ivy and Dylan chose this stunning location to elope, embracing the beauty of nature and the intimacy of their love. As their photographer, I had the privilege of documenting their special day, filled with laughter, exploration, and unforgettable moments.

Middle Beach Ceremony

Their elopement day began with intimate moments between Ivy's family and friends as she got into her wedding dress and prepared to meet Dylan on the private beach of Middle Beach Lodge .

As we walked toward the beach, the sun climbed higher, bathing everything in a warm glow. Ivy wore a flowing white dress that danced elegantly with the wind, perfect for a tofino beach ceremony.

After the ceremony and family formals we took the old growth trail from the Lodge to Sunset Beach where we had the whole place to ourselves. This is an amazing part of choosing this location for our intimite elopement. We took our time, enjoying the shade of the trees as Ivy and Dylan basked in newlywed bliss.

Once we made it to the beach, we were met with radiant sun and total privacy, both amazing gifts for the west coast which can be overcrowded and overcast, even on summer days,

Sun + Shade = Epic Portraits

After getting some epic shots on the sunny white sand beach, we took to the rugged coastline which offered that classic west coast backdrop along with some much needed shade. As the sun danced across the sky, Ivy and Dylan climbed the rocks and got to connect even deeper with each other.

Reflections on a Magical Day

It was time to leave our time together on the beach and return for a intimite beach dinner with family, and although I did not stay and capture that part of their day, I know it was magical, how could it not be? I couldn't of been more grateful for Ivy and Dylan choosing me to document their intimite Tofino elopement,
